Hey guys! This is a replica of my original explosion box I made a couple years ago. This time I've made it for my father who's birthday past. He's an avid fisher which is what inspired the decorations on the cake. Card stock texture and weight is important to how well the box will hold up. I've used Bazzill and Recollections paper which are of medium weight. I’ve recreated the party hat and party horn, the “happy birthday” cut out, the felt cupcake, gift box, and large pocket. Today I'll be showing you how to construct the template I made for the happy birthday explosion box. You will need card-stock, ruler, pencil, and a pair of scissors. Take the 12 by 12 card stock and measure in and mark at 4 inches and then 8 inches on the side. Make sure you do it on all 4 sides. A simple and cost-efficient way of decorating your walls. Try it out! It's super cute and super easy to make.   All you need are some toilet paper rolls, a pair of scissors, and a hot glue gun. Flatten the roll and cut it up into sections of 1/4 inch. Glue together 5 petal flowers along with some petal waterfalls.  Wait until everything is completely dry and hardened then hang it onto your wall. Happy Crafting!
