Since making the tealight cake, I've always pondered the other ways one may use a battery operated tealight to craft with. One way I've thought of is to make a Christmas tree with the tealight as the trunk illuminating the tree from the inside.

Materials:
- Christmas Tree Tealight Cake Template
- X-acto knife
- Cutting mat
- Hole puncher
- Scissors
- Pen
- Glue
- Glitter
- Beads
- Brown strip of cardstock (3/4x5")
- Star jewel
Instructions:
1) Print template onto cardstock and cut on all solid lines, use an x-acto knife or a hole puncher
2) Cut out tree rings, use a pen to help punch the centre hole.
3) Fold the ring in half and accordion fold the semi-circle
3) Unfold
4) Repeat for all tree rings
5) Spread glue along the edges of the rings and cover with green glitter (optional)
6) Glue on beads along the edge of the rings as ornaments
7) Roll the tree base into a cone and glue to tealight candle
8) Glue the strip of brown cardstock around the base of the candle
9) Slide on the largest ring through the cone and glue into place
10) Continue stacking the rings onto the cone til you reach the top, glue into place
11) Glue on star jewel to the top of the cone
